A couple weeks ago I posted about an upcoming charity ride I am doing, the MS 150. It is close to 200 miles ridden in 2 days, from Houston to Austin, to fund research and support those with Multiple Sclerosis. I will ride 9-10 hours in the hill country of Texas, burning more than 6000 calories and sleeping on the ground overnight to raise awareness and support for this cause. But in order to fulfill my fundraising commitment, I still need $700 to reach the $1000 rider goal. Donations can be as much as $5!! And I’ve had some really wonderful friends/family donate already, ranging anywhere from $5 – 100! Please consider a small donation for this wonderful cause 🙂 I know that some of my readers already have, and I really appreciate it! ONE WEEK!
A photo of my teammate and I at the end of the 180+ mile ride last year! Repping both of my teams – Team HP and Team Sun & Ski!
What kind of bike are you on? I ride a Specialized Sequoia Elite, but am thinking about trading for something different.

Sorry, haha. It’s a nice bike!! I really love my Specialized. I may have a hard time parting with it, but always nice to have opinions and hear what other people ride 🙂 My brother-in-law has a Cannondale, but his is a mountain bike.

Hey, a girls gotta have options 😉 much like me and my handbags and heels! haha. I have actually never raced and where we live, I would have to drive 3.5 hours to even be on a team. I’ve ridden in events for fun, but that’s it. Would love to get into racing, but for now I’ll just enjoy the Oklahoma countryside 🙂

You probably have better rides than me ! I’m in houston so it’s flat flat flat. Biking is fun no matter how or why you do it 🙂

Well, it’s pretty flat out here too, but when we run across a hill, it’s one hell of a hill! Haha – not to mention the awful wind!
But you take what you’re dealt! Most certainly agree with you, it’s a good release and a fun way to take in the countryside.
