Back on the RX train!

Woohoo!  After a 2-month “comeback” to crossfit, I can say that I am back on the RX train – doing every workout RX unless there are muscle ups!  (Still haven’t really attempted those).  It feels good to just accept the RX weight and get through the workout!  Much easier to log on Beyond the Whiteboard, too, since you don’t have to log all of your modifications.  I feel good and I feel strong!  Here’s what we did tonight and my time:

Nutts : 29 mins 4 secs | Rx’d
10 Handstand Push Ups
15 Deadlifts 175 lbs
25 Box Jumps, 24 in
50 Pull-ups
100 Wall Balls, 14 lbs, 10 ft
200 Double Unders
Run, 35 lbs, 400 m
The roughest parts were the wall balls and the plate run… I definitely have double unders now!!! And pull-ups are fine, I just do them in sets of 5.  So glad my hands didn’t rip.
Woo! I’m back at it!  I tried to sign up for my first competition in January, but the “lightweight” category was sold out 😦 It’s a women’s-only comp, so I thought it would be a good one to start out with.  Oh well, I’m still just doing this for fun and personal achievement.  I’ll leave the competing for bikes 🙂
Some recent Crossfit pics… (I don’t know how some people have pictures from every workout, it is rare that anyone in my gym takes photos unless it’s the coach, and that’s like once a week randomly!)
